5.6 Machine maintenance

5.6.1 Cleaning
The machine should be cleaned daily.
After cleaning the machine, check all cables,
hoses, pipes and unions for leaks, loose
connections, chafe marks and other damage.
Attention
Rectify any noticed defects immediately.
Do not use any flammable or aggressive materials
for cleaning purposes.

Strength classes for all bolts with untreated, non-lubricated
surfaces.
The values indicate 90% utilisation of the tesile yield strength; at
a friction coefficient of μ—- = 0.14.
Tighting torques can be verified with torque wrenches.
The specified values do not apply when using lubricant MoS2.
Renew self-locking nuts after each disassembly.
Important
5.6.3 Bolted connections
When using vibrating machines, it is important that the bolted
connections are checked for tighteness at regular intervals.
Observe tightening torques.
5.6.4 Checking rubber buffers
Check rubber buffers for cracks and other damage as well as for
tighteness and replace immediately if damaged.

5.6.5 Checking and tensioning the V-belt
2
1
4
The remove the V-belt guard
7
Check the condition and tension of the V-belt (1), replace
damaged V-belts
13
Loosen rubber buffer fixing nuts (2)
31
Tension the V-belt by shifting the engine bracket (3)
61
To be noted is that the bracket (3) moves and not only
the buffers are elongated. In this case, the buffers
should be tapped forward lightly with a hammer.
Important
Deflection X: About 15 mm
Ensure uniform buffer tension
Tighten rubber buffers
Crank the drive manually, recheck deflection and correct if
necessary
Fit V-belt guard
Do not start engine without V-belt guard, risk of
injury.
Danger
After about 25 operating hours, recheck the V-belt tension and
retension if necessary.
