6. Hanging the device

The under cabinet radio is designed to be mounted on the underside of a wall
cupboard or shelf unit. You will need 4 screws to mount the device. The size and
length of the screws must match the mounting plate and bracket.
If the doors of your wall cupboard do not close flush with the carcase, you will also
need the spacers supplied for assembly so that you can open the cupboard door
without any problems. You can also temporarily position the radio under your wall
cupboard with the mounting plate pushed in and check that the front panel is not
covered.
 Check that the marked position is correct using the device.
 If necessary, drill four holes (diameter approx. 1 mm) where you made your
markings with a 1.5 mm drill bit on the underside of the shelf unit.
The screws supplied are suitable for mounting on wooden subsurfaces.
Appropriate screws must be used for other materials. When mounting
on wooden subsurfaces, pre-drilling is usually not required.
