3. Cycle the Resuscitator through several ventilations. The test lung should inflate during inspiration and
deflate during exhalation. Check for leakage at all joints and connections. Ensure that the Resusci-
tator refills promptly and properly and that all valves are operating correctly. If not, repeat the tests
above to find where the problem lies.
