The inverted tooth chain drive was manufactured according to the
accepted rules of technology. Even so, there is a risk of injury or
damage if the following general safety instructions and the
specific warnings given in this instruction manual are not
observed.

inverted tooth chain drive.

Keep these instructions in a location where they are
accessible to all users at all times.

Always include the operating instructions when you pass the
inverted tooth chain drive on to third parties.

Intended use

The inverted tooth chain drive is a mechanical system component
that may be used in a temperature range from -20 °C to +120 °C
as follows, depending on specifications:
• to transfer tensile forces,
• to transfer thrust forces after having been especially configured
to do so,
• for reversing-operation taking pre-tensioning into consideration,
• to drive machines or system components if these are equipped
with inverted tooth drive chains,
• to transport goods that are equipped with inverted tooth
conveyor chains
• for special project tasks, provided that Bosch Rexroth AG,
Antriebstechnik Zahnkette has approved the specifications.
The warranty only applies to the delivered configuration. Qualified
personnel may adjust the system appropriately as follows by:
• shortening, lengthening, and connecting inverted tooth chains
• mechanically machining the sprockets, as long as their static
and dynamic rigidity does not drop below the permitted value.
Exception: The toothing must remain unchanged.
Intended use includes having read and understood these
instructions completely, especially chapter "Basic Notes on
Safety".
