For this type of lubrication, you require grease that is free-flowing
at room temperature.
Before commissioning:

Carefully lubricate the chain on the side that engages with the
sprocket.
For maintenance:

Remove dirt and lubricant waste and lubricate the chain on the
side that engages with the sprocket.

For this type of lubrication, you require oils with good adhesive
and creep characteristics.
Observe the following points when installing the drip nozzle:
• The oil must drip onto the side of the chain that engages with
the sprocket.
• The oil must drip onto the chain at the point where the chain
contacts the sprocket.
• One drip nozzle is required per 2 cm of chain width.
Calculate the amount of lubricant required as follows:
z = number of drops per drip nozzle per minute
z = v • p
v = chain speed [m/s]
p = chain division [cm]
Note on lubricant consumption: for z = 10 drops per minute you
will need about 0.5 l lubricant for 8 hours.
