To assemble the sprockets properly:
1. Push the sprockets onto the shafts without tilting them.
2. Then check the following points:
• The toothing's radial run-out must meet the DIN 3962-1
standards for the following qualities:
– Quality 11 for rotational speeds of < 12 m/s
– Quality 9 for rotational speeds of > 12 m/s
• Axial play must be kept to a minimum.
• The sprockets must be parallel to each other (see Fig. 8).
Permissable error: Ea ≤ 1°
• The sprockets must be aligned correctly (see Fig. 8).
Permissable error:
– With center guides:
Epc ≤ guide groove width f
– With side guides:
Eps ≤ working width b
