5.5 Replace the top-cap
assembly
1. Dismantle the valve as described in
2. Replace the old top-cap assembly with the new top-
cap assembly.
3. Reassemble the body, actuator assembly and top-
cap assembly and secure with the four fixing screws
(3) removed in Section 5.3. Ensure that the body
'O' ring (11) is correctly positioned.
4. Refit the control-valve if required.

body 'O' rings
1. Dismantle the valve as described in
2. Remove the body 'O' ring (11) from the body.
Dispose of the 'O' ring (refer to Section
3. Inspect the 'O' ring groove and contact surfaces.
Refinish surfaces which are scratched or damaged.
4. Fit the new body 'O' ring to the body.
5. Remove the valve-pad 'O' ring (14) from the pad.
Dispose of the 'O' ring (refer to Section
6. Inspect the 'O' ring groove and contact surfaces.
Refinish surfaces which are scratched or damaged.
7. Fit the new valve-pad 'O' ring. Apply a light wipe of
high-vacuum grease to ease the fit.

Zusammenbau darauf achten, daß der O-Ring des
Ventilkörpers (11) in der richtigen Stellung ist.
4. Wenn erforderlich, das Steuerventil wieder
einbauen.

3. Remontez le corps, l'ensemble actionneur et

tout avec les quatre vis de fixation (3) retirées à la
Section 5.3. Vérifiez que le joint torique du corps
(11) occupe une position correcte.
4. Le cas échéant, remettez en place l'électro-vanne
de commande.

2. Enlevez du corps le joint torique (11). Mettez ce
joint torique au rebut (voir Section
3. Examinez la gorge du joint torique ainsi que les
surfaces de contact. Refaites la finition des
surfaces rayées ou endommagées.
4. Mettez en position le joint torique neuf sur le
corps.
