• MODELS 2115 - 2117 - 2119
The wheels of the tricycle are driven by a chain on the rear axle. To prevent
the chain from running off the axle, the chain has to be tightened correctly by
shifting the rear wheels (including the axle) backwards:
At the back of the tricycle you see aluminium bearing blocks on both sides of
the rear axle. Furthermore, the rear axle is supported in the middle by a small
metal plate with a synthetic ring.
Loosen the upper bolts in the aluminium blocks, but do not disassemble them.
Then loosen the support in the middle of the axle.
The rear wheels, as well as the axle, can now be shifted backwards on the
frame of the tricycle. This can be done by tightening the bolts that horizontally
push against the aluminium blocks. Make sure both rear wheels are shifted
backwards the same distance.
When the chain between the two-chain wheels can be moved +/- 2 cm, the
chain tension is correct.
Now tighten the locknuts on the horizontal bolts.
Then tighten the bolts in the aluminium blocks and the support in the middle
of the axle.
• MODELS 2102 - 2103
The wheels of the tricycle are driven by a chain on the rear axle. To prevent
the chain from running off the axle, the chain has to be tightened by extending
the frame of the tricycle:
On the frame behind the saddle tube you see two horizontally mounted lenth-
adjustable tubes.
By unscrewing the clamping screws on both tubes, the frame can be extend-
ed. When the chain between the two chain-wheels can be moved +/- 2 cm,
the chain tension is correct.
After adjusting the frame lenght, retighten the clamping screws.
