3M SafetyWalk™: This ultra-grippy surface provides an excellent non-slip platform for
the pedal / shoe interface. The material itself is used in industrial applications, and on
aircraft stairs, where hard wearing and non-slip is essential.
Busch & Müller: A German company specialising in high quality road legal lighting for

Ergonomics: The pursuit of the optimal interaction of human and machine /
object promoting performance, efficiency and comfort.
Foot Stance (Q-Factor): Commonly accepted as being the distance between your feet
on the pedals.
Fore / Aft: The forewards / backwards position of something.
Heal Angle: The angle of the foot relative to the down tube of the bike frame.

fitting it.
Varus Angle: the 'tilt' of the foot. When pedalling it is preferred to have the foot
tilted slightly outwards to align all the joints of the leg.
