Progress in bicycle technology has never been as rapid as these days. Bicycles
have never been more efficient. Though one fundamental detail has never been
really developed further since the appearance of the bicycle: the primary
bicycle pedal, the pedal version providing no constant connection to the feet
and being used today by far more than 80% of all riders.
However, pedals are one of the key points between rider and bike when it
comes to bio mechanics. Transferring the muscular strength efficiently is the
