Compatible Shoes

Ergon PC2 Pedals are designed to provide a significant functional improvement
over traditional pedals using everyday shoes. This is true with many different
types of shoes and many different types of soles. To ensure maximum compa-
tibility we offer two sizes of pedal, which have a platform optimized for shoes
up to size 42 (PC2-S), and for sizes 43 and greater (PC2-L). Basically, you can
use the pedals wearing the closed shoes of your choice.
We recommend sport shoes for the pedals as with them you can benefit from
the pedals with them best.
Caution: To best preserve the longevity of the 3M SafetyWalk surface on your

new PC2 pedals, please avoid prolonged riding with aggressive, open treaded
hiking boots or mountain bike shoes with or without exposed metal cleats. The
lugged sole design of this type of footwear creates highly focused pressure
points which can cause premature surface abrasion.
