3. Children are not allowed to perform cleaning and user
maintenance, unless they are 8 years of age or older and are
supervised.
4. Keep the appliance and the power cord out of the reach of
children under 8 years of age.
5. CAUTION – parts of this product can become very hot and cause
burn injuries! Particular caution is required if children or persons
at risk are present.
Requirements imposed on the set-up location and operation of the
appliance
6. Only connect the appliance to an AC power supply with voltage
corresponding to the voltage specified on the rating plate.
7. This appliance must not be operated with an external timer or a
remote control system.
8. Do not, under any circumstances, immerse the appliance in
water or other liquids – danger of electric shock!
9. Route the power cord in such a manner that it can neither be
pulled nor tripped over.
10. Do not place the appliance or power cord near open flames
during operation.
11. Do not allow the appliance to run unattended. Maintain a suf-
ficient distance between the appliance and flammable objects,
such as curtains.
12. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
13. Only use heat-resistant cookware on the warming plate. Do not,
under any circumstances, place food directly on the warming
plate.
14. Place the appliance on a solid, level and heat-resistant surface
and ensure that the room is well ventilated.
15. Do not, under any circumstances, place the appliance on sen-
sitive surfaces, such as painted tables or tables with a sensitive
table cloth.
16. Only place the appliance on surfaces that can withstand tempe-
ratures of up to approximately 55 degrees.
17. Do not, under any circumstances, place the appliance on hot
surfaces or a metal surface.
18. Never cover the appliance while it is heating.
