Installing the EHEIM classicLED LED light e
1. Install the LED light holder as described in the relevant operating manual.
2. Connect the profile strips d to the short sides of the aquarium (⌦D). For this, pay attention to the installation direction
of the profile strips (⌦E).
3. Place the LED light with the LED holder in the profile strips (⌦F).
4. Place the cover onto the aquarium from above.

1. Feed the appliance cables through the corresponding openings f in the cover to the outside.
7. Operation
Filling the aquarium
CAUTION! Material damage.
▶ Do not use hard objects or cleaning agents for cleaning.
1. Before filling, thoroughly clean the aquarium with warm water and a soft, clean sponge.
2. Decorate the aquarium with sand, stones, plants, etc.
DANGER! Electrocution due to penetrating water!
The LED light is only protected against penetrating water if immersed temporarily.
▶ The distance from the underside of the lights e to the highest water mark must be a minimum of 15 mm (⌦H).
3. Fill the aquarium with water to a maximum of 15 mm below the lower side of the LED lights e (⌦H).

▶ Heed the operating manual for the EHEIM classicLED LED light, EHEIM thermocontrol aquarium heater and the EHEIM
aquaball interior filter, especially the chapters on safety, commissioning, operation and maintenance.
8. Maintenance

▶ All devices must be disconnected from the power supply before any maintenance work is carried out.
CAUTION! Material damage.
▶ Do not use hard objects or aggressive cleaning agents for cleaning.
▶ The appliance components are not dishwasher-proof. Do not clean the appliance or appliance parts in the dishwasher.
The following sections describe maintenance work necessary for optimum and fault-free operation. Regular maintenance
prolongs the service life and assures functionality of the appliance over a long period.
1. Regularly remove lime scale deposits from the cover, the glass and the LED light with a soft, damp cloth.
2. Carry out the specified maintenance work for the EHEIM classicLED LED light, EHEIM aquaball interior filter and the
EHEIM thermocontrol aquarium heater. For this, heed the pertinent device operating manuals.
