Mounting the Hood

CAUTION
At least two installers are recommended due to
the weight and size of the hood.
1. Lift range hood into the ceiling opening.
2. Secure each support frame to the wooden
hood support frame using the provided (6 to
10) #6 x 2" screws, FIG. Q.
3. Adjust the height of the telescoping support
frame to ensure a tight fit between the hood
and finishing ceiling.
4. Connect ductwork; duct tape all joints to
ensure an airtight seal.
5. Remove a knockout from the wiring box input,
FIG. R.
6. Secure the conduit to the wiring box through a
conduit connector.
7. Make electrical connections. Connect white to
white, black to black, and green to ground.
8. Fix wiring box cover and screws (FIG. R), and
make sure the wires are not pinched between
cover and box.
