5.2.2 Using an existing foundation

An optional base plate is required for mounting the
charging column on an existing foundation.

ATTENTION
Corrosion by damage to powder coating
Drilling through the mounting holes of the base plate will
damage the powder coating and leads to corrosion of the
base plate.
f Use the base plate only as a template for marking the
drill holes.

Drill the mounting holes:
f Route the supply line and optional the control line
through the base plate 1.
f Place the base plate on the existing concrete
foundation.
f Align the base plate accordingly.
f Mark the drill holes on the foundation.
f Drill holes into foundation.

f Use suitable heavy-duty anchors and threaded rods.
f Place on the base plate.

5.2.3 Transporting

Danger of injury due to improper transport
If the device is transported improperly, persons can be
squeezed due to the high weight of the device. There is a
risk of injury when lifting without means of transport, e.g. to
the back.
f Never lift the device without means of transport.
f Use a suitable means of transport according to the local
conditions and taking into account the relevant accident
prevention regulations.
f Never access the area under suspended loads.
f Only place the device on a level surface.
