of the feet.

goods in order to not damage the non-stick coat of the baking surfaces!
❐ Make sure that you do not overfi ll the device! Excess batter may fl ow out on the
sides of the device. Furthermore, the device should generally be easy to close. Do
not forcefully attempt to close the device!
The baking surfaces have a non-stick coat. However, for best results, we re-

Baking with the multi-baker...

1. Prepare the batter according to your wishes. You can fi nd a recipe suggestions in
the chapter "Basic batter recipe".
2. Insert a pair of plates of your choice in the device (see chapter "Inserting/changing
the baking surfaces").
3. Place the device on a dry, heat-resistant and level surface at a suffi cient distance
to fl ammable objects. If necessary, place a heat-resistant base under the device.
4. Open the lid and if applicable, grease the baking surfaces slightly before baking for
the fi rst time.
5. Heat up the device: Connect it to a properly installed socket. Both control lights will
illuminate as soon as the device has been connected to a socket. The device will
immediately begin to heat up. Always keep the device closed when it is heating up.
6. The device reaches its operating temperature after approximately 3 – 4 minutes
when control light I turns off.
7. Fold up the lid once the device has reached its operating temperature.
8. Place the prepared batter in the moulds in the lower baking surface. The moulds in
the lower baking surface should be adequately fi lled. The exact amount of batter that
needs to be fi lled in the baking moulds depends on the consistency of the batter and
can best be determined by performing a test baking cycle. Don't be discouraged if
the fi rst baking attempt doesn't turn out perfect!
9. Carefully close the cover and let the baked goods bake for approximately 6 – 8 mi-
nutes. Make sure that the locking latch on the cover is locked in place.
10. Open the cover to check whether the baked goods are already baked according to
your wishes or whether they need to be baked more.
11. When the baked goods are done, use wooden or plastic kitchen utensils to carefully
remove them and place them e. g. on a rack so they can cool.
12. Fill the device again to prepare more baked goods.
13. If you do not want to prepare more baked goods, pull the plug out of the socket and
let the device cool off completely while open before you clean and stow it (see chap-
ter "Cleaning and storage").
