h) Switching/Setting Relative/Absolute Barometric Pressure
The relative or absolute barometric pressure can be displayed at the top left of the
display.
Relative barometric pressure ("rel" in the display):
Converted barometric pressure on sea level, e.g. according to the barometric
pressure values you will receive, e.g., in the radio; the average barometric pressure
on sea level is 1013 mb/hPa (29.91 inHg)
Absolute barometric pressure ("abs" in the display):
Barometric pressure value measured at the weather station site
Proceed as follows to switch or adjust:
Keep the "mb-hpa/inHg" (14) button on the rear of the weather station pressed
for about 2 seconds until the display "rel" or "abs" flashes.
Use the "" (6) or "" (7) buttons to switch between relative barometric
pressure ("rel") and absolute barometric pressure ("abs").
If relative barometric pressure is displayed, briefly press the "mb-hpa/inHg"
(14) button.
Now the "" (6) or "" (7) buttons can be used to correct the relative barometric
pressure value, e.g. if you know the precise barometric pressure for the area
where the weather station is operated.
If the absolute barometric pressure is displayed (display "abs" above the
barometric pressure value), this value cannot be corrected. Switch to relati-
ve barometric pressure (display "rel") first.
Terminate setting mode by briefly pressing "mb-hpa/inHg" (14).
Setting mode is terminated automatically (and all settings are stored) if no button
is pressed for 30 seconds.
