Invacare®Sonata
The shorter motor operates the leg section.
1.
Join the leg section tube with the leg section bracket, using a pipe
pin in the upper hole of the bracket.
2.
Join the backrest tube with the backrest bracket, using a pipe
pin in the hole of the bracket.
3.
Connect the section motor wires to the control box.
Backrest motor to socket 1.
Leg section motor to socket 2.
4.
Attach the locking cam over all motor plugs.

3.5 Mounting of bed ends and legs

The bed ends can be equipped with different types of legs:
- Bed ends with integrated legs
- Height adjustable or fixed height legs
CAUTION!
Different height fixation of legs can cause
instability in the bed
On the bayonet system, the brackets of the bed ends
have two different fixations, for different heights.
Legs with adjustable height can be fixed in three different
heights.
– Before using the bed, make sure that all
brackets/fixations are set to the same height on all
four legs.

Bed end with integrated legs
Latch the mattress support to the bed ends and press firmly into
position. Do this one end at a time.
(1) High position
Make sure that the bed ends are on the same level. It is possible to
level the bed end in the high position (1) or the low position (2).
Bed end with adjustable/fixed legs
For Sabrine, Camile and Nadine bed ends; mount the brackets for
the bed ends on the side tube of the mattress platform. Tighten the
screws firmly with a 5 mm Allen Key.
Lower the Vibeke bed end in the U-bracket fitting. Press down firmly
and ensure that bed end is fully seated at bottom of U-bracket fitting.
