WARNING:
Danger of injury! Ensure that parts of your body can never get under the
brush roller. Do not brush close to cables, pipes and the like. The cord
insulation could get damaged.
CAUTION:
Before brushing, ensure that the respective surface is suitable for
brushing with a rotating brush roller. Always follow the cleaning recom-
mendations of the material manufacturers. Polished surfaces could lose
their sheen over time.
1. Wind up the cord completely and fix the last loop of cable to the clip on
the handle (Fig. 13).

3.2 Emptying the dust container

WARNING:
Danger of germs forming! Empty the dust container regularly for
hygienic reasons, preferably after every cleaning session. Otherwise,
bacteria and fungi may develop in the dirt taken in due to the warm and
damp of the steam.
CAUTION:
You can dispose of the content of the dust container with your domestic
waste providing it does not contain anything that must be disposed of
separately.
3.3 Put appliance into the neutral position and wind up cord

2. Insert the mains plug into a socket with ground/safety contact.
3. Fold down the base of the appliance. It should now rest on the floor in-
dependently of the position of the handle.
4. Switch on the brush roller using the on/off switch ( ) (Fig. 14).
The brush roller rotates (Fig. 15) and the LED is on.
5. Now clean the floor in strips (Fig. 16).
NOTE:
Once you have finished sweeping the surface to be cleaned or if some-
thing has got caught in the brush roller (e.g. a cable or curtains), switch
off the brush roller at the on/off switch ( ) (Fig. 14) and remove the
object by hand.
6. Then empty the dust container,

1. Switch off the appliance ( ).
2. Pull the plug out of the plug socket.
3. Lift the dust container out of the base of the appliance (Fig. 17).
4. Hold the dust container deep in a dustbin (Fig. 18).
5. Now push the empty button (Fig. 18).
The dirt falls into the bin.
6. Carefully tap out the remaining dust. If this is not enough, wipe out the
dust container with a dry cloth.
7. Put the empty and clean dust container back into its holder in the base
of the appliance (Fig. 19). It clicks shut audibly (Fig. 20).
