13. The „DAP" Jumper
The jumper „DAP" on the PCB (see chapter 7, item 11) serves to activate the programming
mode if you have forgotten or lost the master code.
Proceed as follows:
• Disconnect the code lock from the power supply.
• Unscrew the two screws of the front plate of the code lock and carefully remove the
lid.
• Set the jumper „DAP" to „ON".
• Connect the code lock to the power supply. The yellow LED flashes quickly now while
a sound signal is issued at the same time.
• Reset the jumper to the position „OFF". The yellow LED light is lit permanently.
The code lock is now in programming mode.
• Return the front plate into the plastic housing (observe that the cables are not crushed)
and screw on the front plate.
• Set a new master code; see chapter 10. c).
Operating mode „Single-User": 4-digit master code
Operating mode „Multi-User": 4-8-digit master code
Please note:
If you have activated automatic code recognition in operating mode „Multi-User"
(„Auto-Entry", see chapter 10. g), all codes (master code, user code and code
for the access lock) must have the same code length (e.g. 5 digits)!
• If required, perform further programming (see chapter 10).
• Push the star button to leave programming mode, see chapter 10. k). The yellow LED
must flash slowly now (standby).
