Distributor impeller rotates in
wrong direction (see page 18)
Distributor impeller blocked
Impurities "stick" to material
because of static electricity
Too much material being fed to
aspirator (see Technical data)
Pipe on blower discharge incor-
rect or too long (see Technical
data)
Distributor impeller runs un-
evenly or in wrong direction
Insufficient difference in density
of impurities and material
Remedy
Close damper in steps until cleaning
capacity is correct
Open damper in steps until the clean-
ing capacity is correct
Request electrician to swap leads
Request electrician to swap leads
Unblock distributor impeller
Install anti-static equipment (KIA 20
and KIA 60 only)
Reduce material flow through
aspirator
Change pipe
With electric motor:
Set motor control on correct speed
(see page 20)
W/out electric motor:
Electric motor recommended if ma-
terial has a tendency to brake the
distributor impeller (KIA 20 and KIA
60 only)
Aspirator can only clean out impuri-
ties that are lighter than "good" mate-
rial
