CAUTION!
Warning of hot surfaces! The device may be hot during or immediately after use.
Avoid contact with the inner surface of the base unit during operation or shortly af-
terwards.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
The device must not be transported during operation.
Do not use the device for longer than 40 hours without interruption!
1. If you have not already done so, place the base unit on a dry, fl at, solid and heat-
resistant surface, make sure that the On/Off switch is fl ipped to position 0 and plug
the mains plug into a properly installed plug socket.
2. Spread the prepared food evenly over the drying racks. Make sure that the food does
not overlap. If you have cut fruit in half, place the fruit on the drying rack with the cut
surface facing upwards.
3. Place only the fi lled racks on top of one another on the base unit and then place the
lid on the top rack. As drying is most effective on the bottom rack, you should place
the food that dries faster on the upper racks and, if all the food is the same, you
should swap around the racks from time to time.
4. Set the temperature and fl ip the On/Off switch to position I to switch on the device.
The following specifi ed temperatures and times are just guidelines. The ac-
