USING THE TOOL

Caution! Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the REHAU tool may result in
personal injury and/or material damage .
- Use only REHAU expander heads of the RO system
[standard since 1996 (18° circular mandrel)] or QC
expander heads
- Make sure that whenever the expander heads are
changed, the heads are fully screwed on or clipped
in securely!
- Before use, check the expander heads and the tool
for damage or visible wear!
- Damaged tools or tool components must no longer
be used and should immediately be sent to an autho-
rised service center for repair!
The RAUTOOL Xpand QC can be used with QC
expander heads and REHAU expander heads with a
thread.
Always return the expander heads to their initial
position (retracted mandrel) and always fully screw on
heads when changing the expander heads. Use
expander heads according to pipe dimension (e.g.
16 x 2.2). Push on the QC
bayonet retainer up to the stop and clip in securely
with a rotating movement. The expander head is
automatically locks into place in the correct position.
When screwing on expander heads bring the tool in
starting position (mandrel retracted). Always screw
expander heads fully on.
Use expander heads that conform to the pipe
dimensions (for example, 16x2.2).
