red measuring cable must be plugged into the spe-
cial 10 A jack.
Attention! There is a special warning signal if the
special 10 A jack carries a plug without the rotary
switch being set to the 10 A position.
The multimeter is inserted in series into the circuit,
the minus sign is displayed if the red test tip does
not show towards the positive part of the circuit.
Caution! The multimeter is fused with a 0.5 A/
250 V quick acting fuse which includes the range up
to 400 mA.
The 10 A range is not fused!

AC current measurement

The measurement is carried out according the DC
current measurement. By pressing the DC/AC se-
lector key it is switched over to AC, the AC sign is
displayed.

Resistance measurement

Set the rotary switch to the Ω position. In the auto
range mode resistances can directly be measured.
Manual range mode is also possible.
Open measuring cables means overflow here,
the blinking "4" is displayed.
With resistance measurements the multimeter is
protected against DC and peak AC voltage of up to
250 V existing at the same time.

Continuity buzzer

Set the rotary switch to position
is fixed to the resistance measurement in the 400 Ω
range. The sign
is displayed.
The buzzer sounds in case of contact and con-
tinuity resistances of less than approx. 40 Ω.
Also here the multimeter is protected against DC
and peak AC voltage of up to 250 V existing at the
same time.
