Safety Controller SK 35
Operating mode setup through DIP switches
On the right side of the enclosure underneath the recess, there are 6
DIP switches. From these 6 switches only switches 1 and 2 are in use.
Factory settings are underlined.
S1 Test if voltage is applied (Off)/ is not applied at T1,T2 (On)
S2 Automatic Reset (Off) / manual Reset (On)
Automatic Reset (factory setting: S2 = „Off")
After removal of an activation or fault of the PSS or after power-on, the SK35
close the output contacts 13, 14; 23, 24 without confirmation of the user. During the activation/fault
of the PSS, the corresponding LEDs CH1, CH2 will light on continuously..
Manual Reset (Guard mode) (factory setting: S2 = „On")
After removal of an activation or fault of the PSS or after power-on of the SK35 the output contacts
13, 14; 23, 24 will remain opened till the user restarts the system (the operating of the man. reset
push- button at the connectors Z1, Z2 is required).
The automatic restart of the machine is not possible. Permanent activation or bridging of the reset-
button is not possible and will be detected by the testing routine.
The man. reset will enable both safety channels simultaneous!
After releasing the PSS the corresponding LED's will flash until the man. reset push-button is
pressed. During the activation or fault of the PSS, the corresponding LED's for the CH1 or CH2 will
lights continuously.
