7. Product description

The measuring device enables the pH measurement of aqueous solutions in the range of pH 0 to pH 14. The pH is a
measure of the acidic or alkaline feature of an aqueous solution.
The pH electrode wears in use and over time. Due to the exchangeable electrode, a simple exchange in case of wear
is possible.
In addition, an optional redox probe for the measuring function "mV" (redox potential) can be connected. The measur-
ing device can be easily adapted to your measuring needs.
The pH and redox potential measurement is used in agriculture, horticulture, fish farming, aquariums, in the laboratory,
quality control or in the private sector.
The sensor for automatic temperature compensation or the redox sensor (ORP) is available as an option.

8. Power supply

The meter can be used mobile with battery or rechargeable battery. For this purpose, a commercial 9V block battery
is used.

Insert or replace the battery

• At first commissioning or when the battery replacement symbol appears in the top left of the display, a new, fully
charged battery must be inserted.
• When replacing the battery, make sure that the measuring device is switched off.
• Unscrew the screw on the battery compartment (17) using a suitable Phillips screwdriver.
• Pull the battery compartment lid off the device in the direction of the arrow.
• Connect a new battery with the correct polarity to the battery clip. Put the battery in the measuring device. Make
sure that no connecting cables are clamped.
• Close the battery compartment in reverse order and screw it back in carefully.
