11 THE CHIN STRAP COVER
11.1 REMOVAL
Notice! The lining removal is easi-
er if the cheek pads were previ-
ously removed from the helmet.
Condition: place yourself in a sitting position
laying the helmet upside down on your knees.
Unfasten the red automatic button
(1) that connects the chin strap cover
(2) to the retention system (3).
Extract the chin strap cover from the
retention system lace (arrow).
Repeat the previous operations
on the other strip of the retention
system (4).
11.2 INSTALLATION
Condition: place yourself in a sitting position laying the helmet upside down on your knees.
Put the retention system lace (3) into the chin strap cover (2).
Clamp the retention system lace to the chin strap through the specific red auto-
matic button (1).
Repeat the previous operations on the other strip of the retention system (4).
12 THE AIR VENTS
12.1 FRONT VENTS
Condition: wear the helmet and make sure of
the three upper air vents location and their
drive.
To open the lateral air vents (1), move
the sliders backwards. To close
them, move them forward.
To open the central top vent (2), move
the slider upwards. To close it, move
it downwards.
12.2 CHIN VENTS
Condition: wear the helmet and make sure
of the two chin air vents location and their
drive.
To open the chin air vents (1), move
the slider (2) downwards.
To close the chin air vents, move the
sliders upwards.

13 THE RETENTION SYSTEM

13.1 CLOSURE
Warning! For a secure tightening
of the retention system, please
read the information on the Safety
Warning document.
Condition: the helmet is worn and retention
system is loose.
Insert the chin strap lace (1) into the
two D-rings (2).
Insert again the chin strap through
the inner ring (3). So pull the final
red lace (4) until you feel the strap
setting against your mandible.
Fold the chin strap and secure the
anti-waving automatic button (5).
→ Check if the helmet stays firmly se-
cured on the head.
13.2 OPENING
Condition: the helmet is worn and retention
system is tied.
Unfasten the anti-waving automatic
button (5).
→ Using the final red lace, loosen the
chin strap by removing it from the
rings.
14 THE LUBRICATING OIL FOR VISOR MECHANISM
The supplied silicone oil application avoids the arise of corrosion and
parasitic creakings.
Condition: place the helmet on one of the two sides on a flat surface.
Apply a moderate quantity of oil to the visor mechanism.
Remove the oil excesses with a cloth.
Warning! In case of contact with the skin, wash with plenty of water and soap. In
case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and consult a doctor. In case of
ingestion consult a doctor. In case of inhalation, breathe in open air. Avoid exposure
to sunlight, keep it in a dry place and at a temperature under 50°C. Keep out of reach
of children.
Warning! Prevent the product from entering into the ground/subsoil. Prevent the
product from flowing into surface water and/or into the sewer system. Keep con-
taminated washing water and eliminate it. In case of penetration into watercourses,
soil or sewer system, inform the responsible authorities. Suitable material for col-
lection: absorbent, organic and sand material. Do not dispose of the container into
the environment.
