EMC : Electronic mineral
control
The electronic EMC system measures the
efficiency of the anti-scale cartridge by
constantly monitoring the mineral content
of the filtered water. The EMC system
therefore eliminates any risk of scaling.

Anti-scale cartridge change
indicator light
A) When the anti-scale cartridge begins
losing its effectiveness, the EMC system
is activated. 1 green indicator light
begins flashing to indicate that the
cartridge must be changed soon.
B) If the anti-scale cartridge is not changed
after a certain amount of ironing time,
2 green indicator lights begin
flashing. The EMC system will then
stop all steam production. Pushing the
steam button at this point produces an
alarm sound.

A) When the anti-scale cartridge begins
losing its effectiveness, the EMC system
is activated. 1 green indicator light
begins flashing to indicate that the
cartridge must be changed soon.
B) If the anti-scale cartridge is not changed
after a certain amount of ironing time, 2
or 3 green indicator lights begin
flashing. The EMC system will then
stop all steam production.
To produce steam again, either the anti-
scale cartridge must be changed or
distilled water must be used. After
changing the cartridge, the unit must be
turned off and on in order to recreate
normal operating conditions (2 minute
wait).

Het EMC-systeem stopt uit zichzelf met
het vrijgeven van stoom.
Om weer stoom te verkrijgen moet u de
antikalcassette
vervangen
gedemineraliseerd water gebruiken. Na
het vervangen van de cassette, schakelt
het toestel uit, dan weer aan, dit laat toe
om het toestel weer in zijn normale
werking te kunnen gebruiken (wachttijd:
2 minuten).
