5. Do a check of the depth indicator on the display. The
depth is calculated by adjustments that are done in
"SET BLADE DIAMETER" (A) and the position of the
arm.

6. To calibrate the arm position, do the procedure that
follows.
a) Put the arm in vertical position.
b) Select "CALIBRATE ARM" menu (B).
c) Select "YES" to calibrate the arm.

7. Select "SET BLADE DIAMETER" menu (A) and
enter the correct blade diameter.
CAUTION:
the display will only be correct if you
calibrate the arm and enter correct blade
diameter. This will also make the chain
saw adapter operate correctly.
8. Select "DRIVE CHOICES" menu (C) and select the
remote control settings:
a) "SET GEAR" (D): Select gear. Make sure that
same gear is selected in the remote control and
on the product. Refer to
15 . For more information on recommended
blades and speeds. Refer to
blade speed on page 21 .

b) "SET DRIVE MODE" (E): Set the mode to
"BLADE STD" or "BLADE MAN". Refer to
drive modes on page 14 . Refer to the operator's
manual for the Husqvarna power pack for
information about the modes "WIRE" and
"CHAIN".

c) "SET ROT. DIR" (F): Select the direction of
rotation of the blade. The direction of rotation can
only be changed when the blade is stationary.
Note:
(S) = Standard, (R) = Rearward.
9. Move the product to the start position. Make sure
that the blade does not touch the material.
10. Start the water supply for the cooling system. Adjust
the flow with the water tap.
11. To start the motor, push the arrow button and at the
same time turn the blade speed dial clockwise. The
motor power output is shown in the display on the
remote control.
To operate the remote control
The product is controlled with the remote control. The
remote control is connected to the power pack through
radio transmission. To connect the remote control, refer
to the Husqvarna power pack manual.
