4.8 Gas conversion (fi g. 18)
It is easy to convert from one gas family to another even after the
boiler has been installed. This operation must be performed by
professionally qualifi ed staff. The boiler is designed to work with
natural gas. The product plate indicates which fuel it has been fi t-
ted out to use.
It is possible to convert the boiler from one kind of gas to the other
using kits which can be supplied on request:
- natural gas to LPG conversion kit
- LPG to natural gas conversion kit.
To disassemble, proceed as follows:
- disconnect the boiler from the power supply and close the gas
tap
- remove the components to access to the internal parts of the
boiler
- remove the gas ramp (A)
- remove the nozzle (B) contained inside the gas ramp and re-
place it with the one contained in the kit
24
26
- remount the gas ramp
- remount components previously removed
- power the boiler and open the gas tap (with the boiler working,
check there are no leaks in the gas supply circuit).
Programme the "Gas type" parameter and adjust the boiler as
described in the "Adjustments" chapter.
Conversion must be carried out by qualifi ed personnel.
Once the conversion is complete, affi x the new identifi -
cation label supplied in the kit.

4.9 Cleaning the water tank

After removing the fl ange it will be possible to inspect and clean
inside the water tank and check the condition of the magnesium
anode (fi g. 20).
- Turn off the hot water system stopcock and empty the water tank
through the drainage device
- Loosen the nut and extract the anode (1)
24
26
- Remove the nuts (2) blocking the external fl ange (3) and extract it
- Clean the inside surfaces and remove all the debris through the
opening
- Check the wear conditions of the magnesium anode (1), replace
if necessary
- Check that the gasket (4) is in good condition after extracting it
from the inside fl ange (5), replace if necessary.
Complete the work of cleaning, re-mount the components working
the other way round to above description.
4.10 Checking the combustion parameters
Position the function selector on
2a).
- Turn the DHW temperature selector on
Wait until the ignition of the burner (about 6 seconds). The dis-
play shows "ACO", the boiler operates at full power heating.
- Remove the screw C and the cover E on the air box (fi g. 19).
- Insert the probes of the analyzer in the positions provided on the

air box.
The fl ue gas analysis probe must be fully inserted as far
as possible.
- Check that the CO2 values match those given in the table, if the
value shown is different, change it as indicated in the chapter
entitled "Gas valve calibration".
