with the installation, use, maintenance, or

The purpose of this manual is to make
the operator knowledgeable of the safety
01.1 Û INTENDED USE OF THE PIEZOSURGERY®
The PIEZOSURGERY® touch is a piezoelectric
ultrasonic device intended for bone surgery in
the following applications:
- osteotomy and osteoplasty techniques;
- implantology;
- periodontal surgery;
- orthodontic surgery;
- endodontic surgery;
- maxillofacial surgery
The PIEZOSURGERY® touch, and its inserts,
can operate as a piezoelectric scaler in the
following dental applications:
- scaling: all the procedures for the removal
of bacterial plaque deposits and supra-
gingival, sub-gingival, and interdental
WARNING: The device must be used
in a dental practice or ambulatory. The
device cannot operate in environments
where anesthetic or flammable mixtures
are present.
WARNING: Qualified and specialized
personnel. The device must be used
exclusively by specialized and appropriately
trained personnel such as a Surgeon. The

precautions, the installation procedures,
and the instructions for a correct use
and maintenance of the device and its
accessories.
Use of this manual for purposes other than
those strictly tied to the installation, use
and maintenance of the device is forbidden.
The information and illustrations in this
manual are updated as of the date of issue
reported on the last page.
