19. When do I have to change the en-
gine oil?
The oil has to be replaced after every 50 operating
hours and the engine has to be switched off and the
device should still be warm. To this end, start the en-
gine for a short while, if required.
Place a suitable collecting container with a volume of
at least 1 litre under the oil drain plug (A).
First open the oil drain plug (A) and then the oil filler
neck (B) and drain off the entire engine oil using a
suitable hose or pipe.
Close the oil drain plug (A) again and fill 0.6 litres of
fresh engine oil into the oil filler neck (B).
Afterwards, check the oil level using the oil dipstick
(B) and adjust the oil level, if required.

20. Exchange of saw blade

1
Wait until stationary and allow to cool down. Re-
move the mains plug or remove the spark plug
connector!
• The exchange of the saw blade can only be under-
taken in firewood cut position.
• Loosen the top and bottom screws on the protec-
tive cover approx. 5 mm and open the protective

pin (1) through the corresponding opening on the
saw blade guard. To do this, insert the pin com-
pletely and straight into the hole. Use the corre-
sponding hole (depending on the saw blade type)
so that the pin is at the lowest point (bottom of the
tooth).
• Loosen the saw blade with the supplied open-end
spanner / Allen wrench (2).
• Remove the saw blade flange
• Insert the new saw blade.
• Mount the saw blade flange again and tighten the
clamp screw.
• Remove the locking pin.
m Attention! When installing the saw blade, pay
attention to the correct direction of rotation!
