BATTERY INSTALLATION

WARNING:
Turn unit OFF before removing/
installing the battery pack(s).
NOTE: Lithium Ion Battery Packs and
Charger sold separately.
NOTE: The use of two Battery Packs
are not required but is recommended for
extended run time. Your Wet/Dry Vac can
operate on one or two Battery Packs.
Installation of Battery Pack(s)
NOTE: Use only RIDGID 18V Battery
Packs. The HD09180 will operate with the
following Battery Packs:
Batteries:
• R840088
• R840083
• R840085
• R840089
• R8400806
• R840086
• R8400809
• R840087
1. While holding the Wet/Dry Vac's
handle with one hand, slide the fully
charged Battery Pack into the Battery
Receptacle until you hear an audible
click. Do NOT push the Release
Buttons on the Battery Pack at this
time.
Removal of Battery Pack(s)
1. Press both Release Buttons, located
on each side of the Battery Pack, at the
same time and slide Battery Pack out of
the Battery Receptacle.
2. Plug Charger into a Wall Receptacle
and place Battery Pack into the Charger
to recharge the Battery Pack.
WARNING:
!
To reduce the risk of electric shock,
do not handle battery pack(s) with
wet hands or place wet battery
pack(s) into charger.
