6 Troubleshooting

6.1 If the appliance does not work as it should

WARNING:
Danger of injury! Never use a defective
appliance! Always switch off the appliance
and disconnect it from the mains before
troubleshooting.
See if you can solve the problem yourself by
following the steps in the adjacent table.
NOTE:

6.2 If the appliance is defective

If the appliance has been dropped or looks
like it has been damaged, or if the connection
cable of the appliance has been damaged, it
has to be replaced by the manufacturer, his
customer service or a similarly qualified per-
son to avoid danger.

6.3 Disposal

Electrical waste must not be disposed
of with domestic waste. Use local old-
appliance collection points instead.

Never use a defective appliance. Bring or
send defective appliances to a specialist deal-
er or to Royal Appliance Customer Services
for repair ( Page 102, "International Ser-
vice").
The filters used are made from environment-
friendly materials. You may dispose of them in
your household waste.
Possible cause / solution
The overheating protection has
tripped (e. g. due to blocked
suction channels, or similar).
Switch the appliance off.
Eliminate the cause of the over-
heating. Wait for about 45 min-
utes. After the appliance has
cooled off, you may switch it on
again.
The dust container is full.
