Keep the Akai GX-R66 clean
After prolonged use, parts of the Akai GX-R66 which come
into contact with the tape (heads, capstan, pinch roller, etc.)
become dirty due to oxide from the tape and other contamina-
tions. This can lead to such problems as "no sound", "funny
sound due to unstable tape transport"
always enjoy good performance, you should periodically
clean your Akai GX-R66.
I . How to remove
the cassette
Depress the EJECT ( A ) button to open the cassette

téteavecledémagnétiseur detéte AH-15 (accessoire e noption).
Démagnétisezégalement Iesparties métaliiques du cabestan.
3. Conservez également propre Ie coffret
Nettoyez le coffret avec un chiffon doux et sec.

Si Iecoffret est tres sale, nettoyez-le avecun détergent doux.
