Intro scan
The Akai GX-R66 will play back the
beginning of each selection
seconds to help you quickly locate the
selection you want to playback.
1. Depress the INTRO SCAN button
and then depress the PLAY button
or Y). The GX-R66
ward the tape to the beginning
each selection, and play the first 10
seconds of music. This allows
quickly indentify the selection
want to playback.
2. When you come to the selection you
want to listen to, depress the play
or > ) button to continue normal play-
back.
Note:
The tape counter will not function during
Intro Scan. Instead the number of the se-
lection (with the selection
began Intro Scan being No. I) will flash
ON and OFF while the tape is fast for-
warding. When the beginning of the se-
lection is reached, H-10 begins to flash,
and when the music starts, the indicator
counts down•trom 1 0 to O.
To change the INTRO SCAN
playback time:
After depressing the INTRO SCAN but-
ton,you can change the length of the
playback time by depressing
combination of the numbered
ming buttons. Notice that the indicator
changes from H-IO to whatever number
you press. This indicates the number of
seconds of each selection
SCAN will play back. To continue with
the normal 10 second playback:
Depress the STOP button, then INTRO
SCAN, and finally PLAY.
