Absentee recording
1. Turn ON the Akai GX-R66,
AMPLIFIER and the TUNER.
Load the cassette tape and ready the

to turn ON and OFF the components.
Set the TUNER to tune in the station

Timed playback
1. Turn ON the Akai GX-R66 and the AMPLIFIER.
2. set the AMPLIFIER's
VOLUME control.
3. Load a cassette tape and Playback the tape. When you
find the beginning of the selection you want, depress the
Stop (Z) button.
4. set the AUDIO TIMER COMPONENT

5. set the AUDIO TIMER

6. set the Akai GX-R66's TIMER START selector to PLAY.
