first
Although operating the appliance may seem simple,
the combustion of solid fuels is a complex process
involving various factors. It takes time and experi-
ence to fully understand how to do it properly.
Before lighting your appliance for the first time, take
the time to familiarize yourself with its various con-
trol systems and components, how to choose ap-
propriate firewood, how to light it correctly, and
how to use the appliance safely in daily operation.
ALWAYS REMEMBER that the appliance generates
heat. Keep children, clothing, furniture, and other
combustible materials at a safe distance to avoid
burns or fire hazards.
Below, we have provided important recommenda-
tions regarding the appliance and its proper use.
Please read them carefully.

Adjustment - Glass Cleaning Valve
Fully open the glass pane cleaning air valve when
lighting the appliance.
Once an ideal combustion rate has been achieved,
fire.
adjust the vale to prevent excessive air intake,
which will cause excessive combustion levels and
temperatures.
The intermediate position is usually the ideal ad-
justment, depending on the quality of the draw of
the chimney installed and on the type of fuel being
used (hard or soft wood) (Fig. 4).
Ash pan
Very important! Only handle the ash pan when the
appliance is cold.
The ash drawer is located beneath the combustion
chamber. To access the ash drawer, open the ash
drawer door (Fig. 5).
Grab the ash drawer door from underneath and pull
it towards you, keeping it tilted outward from the
stove, and let it drop. When the ash drawer door
stops moving, let it hang by releasing it. The ash
drawer handle and the grate shaker control are now
accessible.
With the ash pan in place hold the grate shaker han-
dle and pull it towards you. Push the ash through
the grate at the bottom of the combustion chamber.
The ash will fall into the ash pan. Alternately, re-
peatedly shake the grate using the handle to make
the ash fall into the pan.
To remove the ash drawer, grab the handle and pull
it out. (Fig. 6).
