Danger of Fire
• Do not use the device if highly fl ammable gases are present in
the air.
• Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it
from catching fi re.
• In the event of a fi re: do not put the fi re out using water! Smother
the fl ames with a fi reproof blanket or a suitable fi re extinguisher.

Proper Use

• Always check the device for damage before putting it into op-
eration. If the device, the cable or the plug shows visible signs
of damage, the device must not be used. Do not use the device
if it has malfunctioned or been dropped. You should then have it
checked by an authorised service centre.
• Never attempt to repair an electrical device, a mains cable or a
mains plug yourself, but always consult the nearest customer
service department/specialist in order to ensure your own safe-
ty. In the event of any damage, contact our customer service
department.
• Only the accessory parts supplied by the manufacturer should be
used. If accessory parts which are not authorised by the manu-
facturer are used, all warranty and guarantee claims are void.
• Never leave the device unsupervised during operation!
• Make sure that children are not able to play with the device.
When using the device near children, ensure that children do
not touch the device or the cable.
• CAUTION: danger of burns! The device will become hot during
use. Make absolutely sure that you do not come into contact with
any heated parts during and after use of the device. Only touch
the handles and control knobs while the device is in operation
or immediately after it has been switched off. Only transport or
store away the device after it has cooled down completely. Use
suitable oven gloves when handling the device.
• CAUTION: danger of scalding from hot steam! Keep your hands
and head away from the ventilation slots. Hot steam emerges
from the ventilation slots!
