NOTE: Emergency key blank requires
laser cutting.
NOTE: One programmed remote (with
new battery) that starts vehicle must
be present to program new remotes.
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Close all doors, tailgate, hood, windows and
sunroof (if equipped). Enter vehicle through
driver door and close it.
STEP 2:
Insert programming dongle into OBD-II port.
Programmer will beep and the LED will flash
green once to indicate power.
STEP 3:
Turn on vehicle hazard lights. Keep hazard
lights on for this entire procedure.
STEP 4:
Insert a working key and turn ignition to key
on, engine off position.
STEP 5:
Wait for programmer to beep once and flash
green LED once.
STEP 6:
Turn ignition off and remove working key
from ignition.
STEP 7:
Insert new key into ignition. Do not turn key.
Leave ignition off. Programmer will beep and
LED will flash green once.
STEP 8:
Wait while key is programmed. This may
take up to 30 seconds. Programmer will
beep three times and flash green LED once
to indicate successful programming.

STEP 9:
Remove key from ignition and programmer
from OBD-II port. Turn off hazard lights.
STEP 10:
To program additional keys, repeat this
process from Step 2. Make sure to remove
programmer for at least 30 seconds
between each programming event.
STEP 11:
Open windows, exit vehicle, close all doors
and test all functions on each remote.
Ensure each key starts vehicle. If a key does
not function correctly, repeat programming
process from Step 1.
NOTE: If programming is
unsuccessful at any point,
programmer will beep for five
seconds. Unplug the programmer,
wait 30 seconds, and begin this
procedure again from Step 1. If
problem persists, call Technical
Support at 1-866-933-2911.
