NOTE: One programmed remote that starts the vehicle must be present to program
new remotes.
NOTE: All currently programmed and new remotes must be reprogrammed to vehicle.
NOTE: Programming can be affected by voltage fluctuation. Ensure vehicle battery voltage of
12.6VDC is maintained throughout this entire procedure.
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Insert programmed remote into ignition and turn to on position without starting vehicle.
STEP 2:
Insert programmer into OBD-II port.
STEP 3:
Programmer will beep and LED light will flash.
STEP 4:
Remove remote from ignition.
STEP 5:
Insert new remote into ignition and turn to on position without starting vehicle.
STEP 6:
Programmer will beep and LED light will flash.
STEP 7:
After 15-20 seconds, programmer will beep and LED light will flash indicating successful remote
programming.
STEP 8:
Turn remote to off position, remove remote from ignition and remove programmer from OBD-II port.
STEP 9:
Repeat process to program each new remote.
STEP 10:
Test all remotes. If programming failed, repeat process from Step 1.
STEP 11:
Cut emergency key blank or transfer key from existing remote.
