REMOVAL
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Recover refrigerant from A/C system.
STEP 2:
Remove upper intake manifold to access
original A/C hoses.
STEP 3:
Cover lower intake manifold with tape
to protect against moisture
and dirt contaminants.
STEP 4:
Disconnect both A/C hoses (high side and
low side) at service ports.

STEP 5:
Raise vehicle.
STEP 6:
Disconnect A/C hoses from rear evaporator.
STEP 7:
If desired, remove original A/C hoses from
vehicle. This new A/C hose assembly can be
installed with original hoses left in place
or removed.
NOTE: Removal of original hoses is
not necessary for this installation.
These instructions show installation
where original hoses are not removed.
Installation where original hoses are
removed will differ slightly. (See Step
4 of installation instructions.)

Pass front of new A/C hose up through
vehicle behind engine to mating line.
