REMOVAL
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Recover refrigerant from A/C system.
STEP 2:
Disconnect both A/C lines (high side and
low side) at service ports behind engine.
STEP 3:
Raise vehicle.
STEP 4:
Remove rear passenger side wheel and rear
passenger side wheel well cover.
STEP 5:
Disconnect A/C lines from expansion valve
in rear of vehicle.

STEP 6:
If desired, remove original A/C lines from
vehicle. This new A/C hose assembly can be
installed with original lines left in place
or removed.
NOTE: Removal of original lines is
not necessary for this installation.
The following instructions show
installation where original lines
are removed.
INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Pass rear of new low side hose forward of
and above rear passenger wheel well to
expansion valve.
STEP 2:
Connect new hoses to expansion valve
in rear of vehicle and tighten to torque
specification per factory service manual.
STEP 3:
Moving from rear to front of vehicle, install
hoses above frame from rear wheel on
passenger side where space is available.
NOTE: Hoses must not come
in contact with sharp edges,
suspension, exhaust or moving parts.
