NOTE: This installation will convert
blend door to single-zone, if
replacing a dual-zone blend door.
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Disconnect negative battery cable.
NOTE: Doing this will prevent
accidental deployment of the airbag,
which you will be working near. In
addition, this will force the blend
door to reset.
STEP 2:
Remove glove compartment and plastic
covering behind glove compartment.
Remove screw in center control panel to the
left of glove compartment below vent, then
pop out right side of center control panel
held in place by panel clips.
STEP 3:
Disconnect wiring harness from top of
actuator motor and move out of the way.
STEP 4:
Remove three screws on actuator motor
and remove actuator motor.

STEP 5:
Under the actuator motor removed in
the previous step, you will see a blend
door linkage rod connected to an arm.
Disconnect the rod and then remove
the arm.
STEP 6:
Remove temperature sensor connector,
if equipped.
STEP 7:
Remove screw holding two halves of
plenum box together. If you removed the
temperature sensor in the previous step,
you will see this screw next to the sensor.
