BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

the necessary procedures correctly, seek the services of a qualified technician.
The order in which the regulator rails are installed affects other components. If the outboard rail and motor
are mounted before the inboard rail is inserted into the door, then the inboard rail will not be able to be
installed. The cables should be oriented properly so that the guide rails fit into the door and the cables do
not experience excess tension.
On the new window regulator assembly, cut the wire
tie which holds the cable to the motor. Insert the
outboard rail through the outboard hole, sliding it as
far forward as possible to allow the inboard rail to
fit in. Then insert the top of the inboard rail into the
inboard hole. The end of the rail will slide up between
the glass and the door to allow the bottom of the
inboard rail to be inserted. Mount the rails
to the door loosely.
Ensure that the cable crosses behind the motor and
is free to slide up and down. Note the orientation of the motor and routing of the cable behind the plate and
between the mounting bolts. Having the cable in this position allows reinstallation of the door panel and
smooth operation of the window regulator.
Install the window motor using the
attached hardware in place of the factory
plastic rivets.
