INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Raise the vehicle.
NOTE: Refer to the Owner's Manual
for the correct lifting procedure and
use proper lifting equipment only.
STEP 2:
Beginning on left (driver) side of vehicle,
remove bump stop.
STEP 3:
For 2004 to 2008 F-150 models only,
remove stock speed nut that held bump
stop in place.

STEP 4:
For 2004 to 2008 F150 models only, install
included M10 x 1.5 speed nut into bump
stop mounting hole with threads to inside
of frame.
STEP 5:
Attach left-side upper frame mount bracket
(marked with L) onto frame using 3/8" flat
washer and M10-1.5x35 button-head screw.
Mount on frame as shown, with uprights of
bracket flush with frame. Tighten to 38 ft-lb
(52 Nm).
STEP 6:
NOTE: For 2009-2014 models,
proceed to Step 8.
On 2004 to 2008 F150 models only, set
one of the lower brackets on axle and axle
spacer/jounce bumper strike plate. Insert
four 3/8"-16x7 1/2" carriage bolts into
inside square holes in bottom bracket.
Brake lines and hoses should be routed
clear of this area.
NOTE: The bracket must nest
between the stock U-bolts that hold
the leaf spring to the axle.
