REMOVAL
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Remove airbox assembly.
STEP 2:
Recover refrigerant.
STEP 3:
Raise vehicle.
STEP 4:
Drain coolant.
STEP 5:
Lower or remove center section of exhaust.
NOTE: It is only necessary to lower, not

remove, center and rear sections of
exhaust. However, exhaust assembly can
be removed to improve access.
STEP 6:
Support rear axle and remove passenger side rear
shock and shock bracket. Do not lower axle.
STEP 7:
Lower or remove rear section of exhaust.

STEP 8:
Disconnect A/C lines from expansion valve in rear
of vehicle.
STEP 9:
Disconnect rear A/C lines and heater core hoses
and drain coolant.
STEP 10:
Disconnect front A/C lines and heater core hoses
and drain coolant.
STEP 11:
Remove midship and rear A/C and heater core
hoses.
