Quick start guide for RLS 45 K, RLS 45 O room
air controls and DS 45 RC radio switch + informa-
tion on changing filters.
The PP 45 O, PP 45 K, PP 45 RC, PPB 30 O, PPB
30 K, PPB 30 RC and RV 2 ventilation units can
be operated and set using the controls → Chapter
2. For information on changing the filter on the
PP 45, PPB 30 and RV 2 → Chapter 3.
1 Safety

the instructions. Installation only
by trained specialists, electrical

2 Operation, Settings
The ventilation system runs in continuous ope-
ration, the operating mode and ventilation level
LEDs light up on the room air control.

2.1 Setting options

For operators:
RLS 45 K, DS 45 RC: Operating mode, ventilati-
on level, time-limited intensive ventilation (inter-
mittent ventilation, level 5), time-limited switch-off
(sleep function, level 0) and sensor-controlled
(demand-driven) automatic mode. Automatic
mode only available when the sensor is connec-
ted and activated.
RLS 45 O like RLS 45 K. The time-limited intensi-
ve ventilation (intermittent ventilation) and time-li-
mited switch-off (sleep function) functions are not
available.
For specialist installers: System configuration
RLS 45 K: With the CDV commissioning software
or in the service menu of the control

2.2 LEDs
LED flashes quickly, slowly, lights

2.3 Control buttons

Operating mode: Continuous ventilati-
on with heat recovery (PushPull ope-
ration). All ventilation units connected to
the RLS operate with heat recovery.
RLS 45 K: Operating mode active when
button LED lights up.
RLS 45 O: Operating mode can be set
with .
DS 45 RC: Operating mode active when
the LED at the bottom of the ventilation
unit lights up orange. LED flashes x ti-
mes according to ventilation level.
Operating mode: Cross-ventilation wi-
thout heat recovery (supply air mode:
ventilation, summer operation, PPB 30
exhaust air mode).
RLS 45 K: Operating mode active when
button LED lights up.
RLS 45 O: Operating mode can be set
with .
DS 45 RC: Operating mode active when
the LED at the bottom of the ventilation
unit lights up blue. LED flashes x times
according to ventilation level.
RLS 45 O: Operating mode setting but-
ton.
RLS 45 K, DS 45 RC: Ventilation level
setting buttons. Associated ventilation le-
vel LEDs light up (LED display with the 3
vertical LEDs, depending on the LED
combination level 0 to 5).
RLS 45 O: Ventilation level setting but-
ton. Associated ventilation level LEDs
light up (LED display with the 3 vertical
LEDs, depending on the LED combinati-
on level 0 to 5).
