2. Hold up the Dräger logo found on the Connect ECU UI module to the pairing
symbol of the In-Mask Display.
⇒ The in-mask display icon will be shown on the Connect ECU UI module.
⇒ An icon indicating the status of the pairing process is shown on the In-
Mask Display (see "Meaning of the icons", page 24).
✓ When the In-Mask Display and Connect ECU UI module are connected, the
residual pressure and remaining time will appear on the In-Mask Display.
4.3 Preparations before each use
1. Fully charge the battery in the In-Mask Display (all the LEDs on the charging
cradle will then light green).
2. Make sure that the FPS Quick Adapter is correctly fitted in the full face mask.
3. Visually inspect the In-Mask Display: There must be no damage present.
4. Lay the In-Mask Display on the adapter in the full face mask. Magnets fix the
In-Mask Display on the adapter.
5. If a connection cannot be automatically established, pair the In-Mask
Display:
–
With a thermal imaging camera (see "Pairing the thermal imaging
camera and the In-Mask Display", page 28)
–
With a Connect ECU UI module (see "Pairing the Connect ECU UI
module and the In-Mask Display", page 28)
6. Check whether the information that is shown can be easily seen. The full
face mask must be put on for this. If necessary, remove the full face mask
and snap the optics in another position.
4.4 After use
1. Switch off the In-Mask Display and take it out of the full face mask.
2. Clean the In-Mask Display (see "Cleaning the In-Mask Display", page 33).
3. Check whether the In-Mask Display is damaged. If any damage is detected,
send the In-Mask Display to Dräger for repair.
4. Recharge the battery in the In-Mask Display.
Dräger recommends keeping the In-Mask Display in the charging cradle
so that the rechargeable battery will be regularly recharged.
