Setting and operation
•
To adjust the gripping range, the unit must be placed on level ground!
When adjusting in a raised/hanging position, there is a risk of injury (due to moving parts)!
•
First measure the thickness of the vertical long leg of the gripping material (L-stone) (see >L<).
•
Then set/move the opened (locked) implement (WEZ) to the smallest possible gripping width with
the movable gripping jaws (9) on the crossbar with adjustment holes (10).
•
To do this, open the lynch pin (A) and then remove the plug-in bolt (B).→ See Fig. 10.
•
The smallest possible grip width (the measured dimension of the L-stone) must be visible in one of
the two square viewing windows (w❑ cm)→ see picture 11A
•
It may happen that the same dimension is visible in the upper and lower viewing windows (w❑ cm)
(Fig. 11B) - in this case, both rows of adjustment holes can be used as desired.
•
After adjusting the gripping range, insert the pin (B) again and secure it with the linch pin (A).→ See
Fig. 10.
•
Before lifting the bare implement (WEZ without load), make sure that the automatic changing
device (4) is engaged and that the implement thus remains open.
IMPORTANT: the suspension eye (1) must be in the rear position (see Fig. B1 "empty stroke") of
the suspension lug (2). → Fig. 11/ Fig. 12
